Annual Day at SOS Dhamangaon

School of Scholars, Dhamangaon run by Shri. Dattaji Meghe Bal Kalyan Shikshan Sanstha conducted it's Annual Day " SAVE" : Save And Value Earth with much pomp and enthusiasm. The program started with  worshiping and garlanding the photo of Goddess Saraswati. J.S.Mandape, Nayab Tahsildar, Ravindra Sonawane, Police Inspector, graced the occasion was welcomed with bouquet, saplings and greeting cards at the hands of Principal Dr. Bhairoba Munjal. Sabita Vinod, ICT Head, Resource Centre, MGS, Nagpur, Anil Kawade, Head of Music Department, MGS, Nagpur, Narendra Singh Chavhan, Principal, SOS, Yavatmal, Madhuritai Kadu, Coordinator, Kunal Nahar, Judge, Civil Court, Dmn Rly, Priyanka Dagadkar, Chairperson, Construction Department, Zilla Parishad, Amravati, Arti Gulhane, Headmistress, Pawar Public School, Sanjay Satrote, Head of Hindi Department were special guest. Principal Dr. Bhairoba Munjal read out Annual report highlighting the achievement of the school. Students of Nursery to Std VIII beautifully presented dance, drama yoga and mime. Students presented  dance on Earth creation, Destruction, Mime on saving trees, Ha Naash Thambva, dance depicting the importance of cleanliness through the song " Swachh Bharat ka Irada", "Gadiwala aya , Ghar se kachara nikal", Say no to Plastic bag etc.... Shiv Tandav presented by Std VI  and dance on finale song " Gadiwala Aya , Ghar se Kachara Nikal"were the greatest attraction of the event which enthralled the audience. Best student award Pre Primary was to Arush Shende, Best student Primary to Diya Panpaliya and Anushka Dagadkar,  Best House to Green House, Best Library  user student award to Janhavi Kadukar, Best Library user teacher award to Harshal Manohar, Best Non teaching Pre primary to Vilas Madavi, Best Non teaching Primary to Seema Waichol were given at the hands of the Chief guests. The Chief guests while addressing the students urged them to participate in all competitions and activities and suggested to have a definite aim to achieve success in life. Science teacher Namrata Potdar and English teacher Nilima Chaudhary jointly  conducted the program and compered by Krishna Deole, Siddhi Purohit, Govinda Mundhada and Sanjivanee Khandare. School Media Head and English teacher Nitin Shriwas proposed a vote of thanks. Principal Dr. Bhairoba Munjal, Supervisor Shabana Khan, all teachers and non teaching  staff left no stone unturned for the success of this mega event.

Excellence achieved in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam by SOS high-fliers

Students of School of Scholars, Dhamangaon Railway, cornered glory at National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018 organized by the Institution of Engineers in Jamshedpur to promote science and general knowledge among youngsters. NCO aims at creating abilities of students, training the school children for future in competitive exams, motivating, encouraging and nurturing the young talents.   Nirzar Ganesh Yelne of Std V (B) bagged 12 th All India Rank whereas Anushree Sameer Pelagade of Std V (B) secured 37 th All India Rank in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018.
