School of Scholars organized ‘Cyclothon’ on cancer awareness day.

School of scholars, Gadchiroli one of the best CBSE school in Gadchiroli region has initiated ‘Cyclothon’( cycle marathon) on Cancer Awareness. This is 3rd year our school organizing social activity to create awareness regarding cancer in collaboration with Global Cancer Concern India.


The programme was started with the speech given by Dr. Rude (C.S Civil Hospital) followed by green signal to start the rally. The other dignitaries grace their presence were Dr. Anant Kumbhare, Dr. Advaith Appalwar, Dr. Minakshi Khobragade, Dr. Deshpande and Abhijit Dey( GCCI ) SMC members and PTM members.The students were carrying placards of slogans to avoid the use of tobacco and wine. Students of std. IX presented a street play in Indira Gandhi Square based on cancer awareness.

Cyclothon started from Gandhi Chowk to Civil Hospital Gadchiroli where a street was again presented. Dr. Shivnath Kumbhare and Dr. Anil Rude expressed their views regarding the good initiative taken by the school.They appreciated the students of street play and entire school for under taking such a noble cause to strive the mission against cancer. The students of street play were honoured with mementoes by Civil Hospital.

The street play was written by Mr. Dilip Khobragade and supported by Mr. Mahendra Bokade, Rahul Amborkar, Jitendra Gavarhe and Geeta Khokale. Principal Mr. Nikhil Tukdeo, teaching and non teaching have taken a lot of effort to make this programme successful.

Excellence achieved in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam by SOS high-fliers

Students of School of Scholars, Dhamangaon Railway, cornered glory at National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018 organized by the Institution of Engineers in Jamshedpur to promote science and general knowledge among youngsters. NCO aims at creating abilities of students, training the school children for future in competitive exams, motivating, encouraging and nurturing the young talents.   Nirzar Ganesh Yelne of Std V (B) bagged 12 th All India Rank whereas Anushree Sameer Pelagade of Std V (B) secured 37 th All India Rank in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018.
