Cleanliness week to mark 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi - SOS Dhamangaon
School of Scholars, Dhamangaon Rly conducted a cleanliness week to mark 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji with much fervor. A cleanliness rally was also organized in which teachers and students enthusiastically participated. It aims at making students and public aware of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in everyday life. . Various competitions like drawing, slogan and poster making were conducted. Students were given an oath of cleanliness in special assembly. Students cleaned classrooms, school premises, roads and squares. Skits on cleanliness were beautifully presented by students of K.G II and Std. VI. They gave message of cleanliness and hygiene through their skits. Paper bags and envelopes were distributed to shopkeepers and fruit sellers to make them aware of the use of paper bags in place of plastic bags.
