Annual Sports Day ‘OLYMPIA’ at SOS, Dhamangaon


School Of Scholars, Dhamangaon Rly organized Annual Sports Day ‘OLYMPIA’ with much pomp and enthusiasm in a grand manner.  The event was graced by the chief guest Mr. Sachin Khade (Tahsildar) and the guest of honour Mr. Ram Surwase ( Police Sub-Inspector ), and special guests Mr. Suresh Lakade (Principal, SOS, Amravati), Mrs. Arti Choubey  (Principal, SOS, Wardha), Mr. Sushil Ambekar, Mrs. Sabita Vinod (Resource Person,  MGS), Mrs. Madhuri Kadu (Co-ordinator), Mr. Vijay Ugale (Vice-President, Shri. Jawahar Sahakari Soot Girni, Arvi), Mr. Rajendra Agrawal (Director, Shri. Jawahar Sahakari Soot Girni, Arvi) and Mrs. Arti Gulhane (Headmistress, Pawar Public School).

Mr. Sachin Khade (Tahsildar) and Mr. Ram Surwase (Police Sub-Inspector) accepted the guard of honour by students’ council. Principal Mr. Bhairoba Munjal presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school in various activities. The programme began with the splendid performance by welcome dance (Chair Drill) by K.G II students. Students displayed their talents through various drills like, Pom Pom Drill, Ball Drill, Ring Drill, Flower Drill, Tarang Drill. Rhythmic Yoga, Aerobics and Lezim Drill were the greatest attractions of the event. Sports events like Cone with ball, Hurdles race, Relay race, Zig zag run, Safe crossing race, Hockey race, Skipping race, Ball Race were presented on the occasion. The chief guest Mr. Sachin Khade enlightened all with his motivational words regarding the importance of Sports in the field of education and urged all students to imbibe the regular habit of playing games. Some playful events like Tyre race, Cone balancing race, Amazing pair (Couple game) were arranged for parents.


Pre- Primary Best Student award was given to Rajveer Kadam, Primary Best Student award was given to Nimisha Nistane, Best Non-teaching staff award was presented to Mr. Shrikant Nistane whereas Best House award was given to Blue (Innovative) House. The programme was well conducted by  Mrs. Ranjushree Shende, Mrs. Sneha Rajput, Nimisha Nistane, Medhaj Gawande (Std VI) , Mrunal Ghuge and Keshav Mundhada (Std V). Mrs. Dipti Hartalkar proposed a vote of thanks. Teaching and non – teaching staff  left no stone unturned  for the  success of  the mega event. The event concluded with Vande Mataram.

School of Scholars, Atrey Lay out, one of the top CBSE schools in Nagpur is proud to share the remarkable performance of its students of Std . 10th who cleared the All India Secondary School Examination [AISSE] CBSE Examination with flying colours. Excellence achieved in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam by SOS high-fliers

Students of School of Scholars, Dhamangaon Railway, cornered glory at National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018 organized by the Institution of Engineers in Jamshedpur to promote science and general knowledge among youngsters. NCO aims at creating abilities of students, training the school children for future in competitive exams, motivating, encouraging and nurturing the young talents.   Nirzar Ganesh Yelne of Std V (B) bagged 12 th All India Rank whereas Anushree Sameer Pelagade of Std V (B) secured 37 th All India Rank in National Creativity Olympiad Scholarship Exam 2018.
