70th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION IN SCHOOL OF SCHOLARS, HINGANGHAT
The 70th Republic Day was celebrated
in all its solemnity and grandeur at School of Scholars, Hinganghat
on 26th January 2019. The Chief Guest Dr Ranka hoisted the national flag along with
the principal
of School Mr Chirag Thakkar and A.O. Mr Pradeep Joshi. The students saluted the
National Flag which was followed by National Anthem and March-past.
Students pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity
and uniqueness that is “ India”.
The anchors for the day Ms Paridhi Deshmukh and Ms Mishty Dubbani
welcomed the Chief Guest.The programme began with the
patriotic song sung by the students of class KG II. The choir group
presented the Sanskrit patriotic song “Pravardhatam Bharate Mandalam” along
with the music teacher Mr Atul Tiwari. The whole school joined the choir
and the song reverberated in the surroundings. It was followed by the speech of
Ms Rasika Lambat of class 5th and then chief guest’s Dr. Ranka’s
speech. The Chief Guest felicitated the students which won the prize in
various Co-Curricular Activities. Later, Mast Prassana Danao of
class 2nd has sung a solo
patriotic song, Mr Joshi addressed the students and urged them to
do their best and feel proud to be Indians. . The programme concluded with the National Song, Vande Mataram (full
song), evoking the feeling of patriotism among all present.
The students dispersed
after snacks with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their minds. Nilima
Deotale, Sattyendra Zoting, Nilesh Dongre, Atul Tiwari, Uma Sharma, Mamta
Dayma, Sonali Lonare, Amina Sheikh, Rashmi Fating, , Kirti Wakulkar, Gemdeo
Mhaiske, Sangita Satarkar, SunandaVaidya, Chetna Bhalshankar, Madhuri Yenkar,
Swati Bijwar, Dipali Thakare and non-teaching staff left no stone unturned for
the success of the program. The Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at SOS, Hinganghat, one of the best Schools in Hinganghat.
