Annual Day at SOS Dhamangaon

School of Scholars, Dhamangaon run by Shri. Dattaji Meghe Bal Kalyan Shikshan Sanstha conducted it's Annual Day " SAVE" : Save And Value Earth with much pomp and enthusiasm. The program started with  worshiping and garlanding the photo of Goddess Saraswati. J.S.Mandape, Nayab Tahsildar, Ravindra Sonawane, Police Inspector, graced the occasion was welcomed with bouquet, saplings and greeting cards at the hands of Principal Dr. Bhairoba Munjal. Demo Class at SOS Dhamangaon

Demo class was conducted for Std. I & II here at School Of Scholars, Dhamangaon . Students willingly participated and demonstrated various playful learning activities in presence of their Parents.  For std. I -Playful activities in Maths Identification of different plane shapes, Different ways of Addition in EVS- Role play of Family and Talk on animal, in Hindi and English - Action word, This , That, Those and These were beautifully conducted which parents appreciated a lot. These activities were compered by Sonali Dhole whereas Swati Lawankar proposed a vote of thanks. Std II Demo includes Playful and innovative activities in Maths like Identification of different solid shapes, in Hindi- Vilom Shabda, Namwale Shabda, in English Role play, Dramatization, Hide and seek game for Prepositions, Syllabication. Mast. Shubhrant & Mast. Yash – The High fliers of SOS

The CBSE South Zone II Swimming Competition – 2019 was held on the 26 th & 27 th of October 2019 at Bangalore in which the two scintillating stars Mast. Shubhrant Patra and Mast. Yash Gulhane of School of ScholarsWanadongri Nagpur brought laurels to the school. Mast. Shubhrant Patra the swimming champion won 7 Gold medals, and the - Individual Championship in the South Zone Swimming Competition. 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze at the - CBSE Nationals 2019. He has been the CBSE National participant for 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018. He has bagged 2 Silver and 1 Bronze in 2018 too. Shubhrant has also participated in the SFI National Games Swimming 2019 and in SGFI 2019School Games Swimming and won 1 silver. SOS Wanadongri organizes Grandparents Day with great zeal

The tiny tots of Pre-primary celebrated Grandparents Day in an extraordinary manner on 4th October’19. The Chief Guest  Ma’am Janaki Ganesh, Director APEX Montessori and ECCI Training Institute Ramnagar, showered blessings on these shining stars and appreciated their tremendous efforts to express their love and gratitude towards their grandparents through their wonderful performances.   The celebration commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome song sung by the budding singers of KG I. A dance by tiny tots Nursery after which there were the shining stars of KG II expressing their feelings and emotions for their grandparents through impressions thereafter a skit performance by KG II kids followed by a vibrant dance. The cute rock stars of KG-I filled the air of happiness in the whole atmosphere. Cleanliness week to mark 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi - SOS Dhamangaon

School of Scholars, Dhamangaon Rly conducted a cleanliness week to mark 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji with much fervor. A cleanliness rally was also organized in which teachers and students enthusiastically participated. It aims at making students and public aware of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in everyday life. . Various competitions like drawing, slogan and poster making were conducted. Students were given an oath of cleanliness in special assembly. Students cleaned classrooms, school premises, roads and squares. Skits on cleanliness were beautifully presented by students of K.G II and Std. VI. They gave message of cleanliness and hygiene through their skits. Paper bags and envelopes were distributed to shopkeepers and fruit sellers to make them aware of the use of paper bags in place of plastic bags.  This initiative was guided by Art teacher Kanchan Bhise who guided students to make paper bags and envelopes. School of Scholars Kaulkhed, Akola solemnly celebrated Teachers Day with great gusto and gaiety   on 5th Sept 2019 .   In the special assembly respected Principal Mrs.Manisha Umbarkar  garlanded  the holy portrait of  Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and  extended her heartiest thanks to all the teachers and said a good teacher can inspire hope,ignite imagination and instill love for learning and express her gratitude to all gurus. Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at School of Scholars Wanadongri to mark the 73 years of freedom. The ceremony took place on the school skating rink with the entire SOS Pariwar in full attendance. The Chief Guest Hon’ble Shri Dattaji Megha and the school patron Mrs. Devika Meghe was accompanied and escorted by Sr. Principal Ms. Kavita Nagarajan, the Vice Principal Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur  and the Prefectorial Board members. The Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and the entire school reverberated with the National Anthem. The students of School of Scholars, Pratap Nagar celebrated Janmashtami, where a skit by teachers was enacted illustrating the fact that a person should have control over oneself, students of KG I sang a melodious song praising Lord Krishna and to enhance the celebration KG II children gave a dance performance. Supervisor Mrs. Rakhi Parmar performed puja and then the tiny tots of Play School and Nursery who were dressed as Radha Krishna mesmerized everyone with Handi Phod. Janmashtami Celebration @ School of Scholars, Pratap Nagar To make the event more colourful and cheerful “Mom and me” matki decoration competition was organized for KG II students. The mother and the child of KGII enthusiastically participated and gave beautiful look to earthen pots with their co-ordination, creativity and imagination. The winners of the competition were awarded a sapling and paper flute was given to the children as a take home gift. The whole school environment gave a feel of Vrindavan.
