SOS Salutes the Nation on the 73rd Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at School of Scholars Wanadongri to mark the 73 years of freedom. The ceremony took place on the school skating rink with the entire SOS Pariwar in full attendance.

The Chief Guest Hon’ble Shri Dattaji Megha and the school patron Mrs. Devika Meghe was accompanied and escorted by Sr. Principal Ms. Kavita Nagarajan, the Vice Principal Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur  and the Prefectorial Board members.

The Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and the entire school reverberated with the National Anthem. The Chief Guest Hon'ble Shri Dattaji Meghe, Former member of the Parliament, Founder Chairman of Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha

The programme commenced with a musical rendition by the choir group followed by a patriotic dance depicting different facets of our glorious freedom struggle and also exhibited the massacre of Pulvana attack which made a spectacular impact and left them stupefied.
The participants spell bound the audience with their performance and also energised them with patriotic zeal.
Felicitation was also an essential part of this occasion SOS AISSE Examination and AISSCE Toppers 2018-19 were honored with trophies and medallions.

The Chief Guest inspired the students through her words of wisdom motivating them to work harder to become successful in life, to obey and respect their mentors their teachers.

The programme concluded with the initiation of sweet distribution by the Chief Guest. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
