School of scholars hinganghat one of the best school in Hinganghat region celebrated The much awaited
Biennial Sports Meet on Saturday 2nd of Febraury 2019, with
great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere, a day filled with fervour and
excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The programme began
with the March Past of the students with some stirring marching music by the
band it was followed by Lighting and passing of torch by the athelet students.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the
oath being administered by the principal Mr Chirag Thakkar. An energizing
equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event
The Sports Day was
inaugurated by releasing balloons by Shri Chandrabhan Khandait, S.D.O. Hgt and
Shri Mahendra Suryavanshi, API Hgt. The anchors for the events were Mrs Uma
Sharma, Ms Rishima Pongde and Mast. Sirsh Rathod. There were several sports
events such as Rabbit race, Jelly fish Race, 100 meters Running races, Sack
races, Lemon and spoon races, Animal race and many more. Once the races began,
the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young
athletes. The students displayed a Tribute to RIO Olympic 2016, Yoga display,
Hula Hoop Drill, Hockey- Cricket Drill, Saree drill, flower drill and many more
drills performed by students of different classes which was mesmerizing the
audience with their energetic performances.
The games organized for the parents saw an impressive.
The medals and participation certificates were given to winners away and the
best performers in Academics in year 2017-18 were also felicitated with Trophy
by Shri Sameer Bhau Kunawar, MLA Hgt and Shri Sanjay Daine, Additional
Collector Wardha and the other dignitaries.
The AO Mr. Pradeep Joshi
thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children
to keep up their sportsman spirit.A great interest was observed among the
students and the guardians. All of them came in a large number to enjoy the
sports program. At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on
their faces and lunch boxes provided by the school, with sportsmanship,
enthusiasm and memories to cherish. Sattyendra Zoting, Nilesh Dongre, Atul
Tiwari, Nilima Deotale, Mamta Dayma, Sonali Lonare, Amina Sheikh, Rashmi
Fating, , Kirti Wakulkar, Gemdeo Mhaiske, Sangita Satarkar, SunandaVaidya,
Chetna Bhalshankar, Madhuri Yenkar, Swati Bijwar, Dipali Thakare and
non-teaching staff left no stone unturned for the success of the program.
