Mast. Shubhrant & Mast. Yash – The High fliers of SOS

The CBSE South Zone II Swimming Competition – 2019 was held on the 26 th & 27 th of October 2019 at Bangalore in which the two scintillating stars Mast. Shubhrant Patra and Mast. Yash Gulhane of School of ScholarsWanadongri Nagpur brought laurels to the school. Mast. Shubhrant Patra the swimming champion won 7 Gold medals, and the - Individual Championship in the South Zone Swimming Competition. 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze at the - CBSE Nationals 2019. He has been the CBSE National participant for 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018. He has bagged 2 Silver and 1 Bronze in 2018 too. Shubhrant has also participated in the SFI National Games Swimming 2019 and in SGFI 2019School Games Swimming and won 1 silver. He has added icing on the cake by getting selected for the renowned Khelo India Khelo for the upcoming year 2020. He has also been selected for the 2019 Pre-Asian Games in 200 mt. Aanandmela at SOS Akola KK organized by Scouts and Guides

  Scouts and Guides elate everyone’s heart by organizing  Aanandmela in School Premises at SOS Akola KK ‘Schooling is nothing but the foundation of getting actual experiences of the different aspects of life---preparation for leading successful life.’  Principal Mrs. Manisha Umbarkar always finds the innovative ways to make these experiences lively or more authentic in order to inculcate the precious values among the students and to make them efficient and skillful citizens to empower our nation.
